Terms of sale
- Scope. Sale of prepaid mobile data plans delivered as eSIMs for use in the countries listed on each plan. The seller is Startia Operadora, S.L.U.; connectivity is provided over local operator networks under agreements held by Startia or its providers.
- Requirements. An eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device. Check compatibility in our guide before buying; Startia is not liable for locked or incompatible devices.
- Price and payment. Prices are shown in euros including the taxes applicable to the buyer’s country. Payments are processed by Stripe; Startia never stores card data. A simplified invoice is emailed to you.
- Delivery. After payment you receive the QR code and installation details by email and in your account, usually within minutes. Plans have an installation validity period (normally 180 days) and a usage period that starts as stated on the plan page (on installation or on first connection at the destination).
- Use. Data only; no phone number, calls or SMS unless the plan says otherwise. On daily unlimited plans, once the daily allowance or the fair-use limit is reached, speed may be reduced as stated on the plan page (FUP). Unlawful use, resale and use on networks not covered by the plan are prohibited.
- Right of withdrawal and refunds. You may withdraw within 14 days of purchase as long as the eSIM has not been installed, for a full refund. By installing the eSIM or starting to use data you expressly request that the service begins and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully or partly performed, you lose the right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16). If the eSIM does not work for reasons attributable to Startia or its providers and we cannot fix it, you receive a full refund.
- Support. Assistance in Spanish and English through tickets opened from your account on the website or in the app, with the response times published on the support page; for network issues at the destination we act on your behalf with the connectivity provider.
- Liability. Coverage and speed depend on local networks and may vary; Startia does not guarantee a specific speed and is not liable for indirect losses. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the plan.
- Account and security. You are responsible for safeguarding your access. We show the date and device of your last login and you can close remote sessions from your account.
- Changes and governing law. The terms in force are those published at the time of purchase; each version is identified by number and date. Spanish law applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer rules of your country. EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
